We are delighted to have been invited to teach at a conference in October in Stalybridge. We are really looking forward to our time there and excited about the things God is going to do!

It be on a smaller scale than the “Hillsong European Conference”, but there´s no where I’d rather be!

Breakfast church follow-up

One of the visitors to breakfast church (who had never been to a modern church before) has recently relocated to England.

Obviously, we were really sorry to see them go, but were delighted to hear that one of their main objectives when they return to the UK is to find a modern church like ours to attend! What a privilege to be the ones to introduce this person to a vibrant, living, real faith in God!

Please pray that they find a good place to connect with God!

Breakfast Church success!

Praise God, we had 2 new people at church last week for our breakfast church event! This couple have been friends of ours for a while and attended this bridging event, having never been to church before. They enjoyed the cooked breakfast and then watched worship from lifechurch.tv and a talk from Brian Houston, Hillsongs Australia.

Apparently they have been talking about their new experiences this week and would like to come again after their holidays. Praise God, please pray that a seed will have been planted in their hearts and that they will return!

Cafe Life hits new records!

This morning it was standing room only at Cafe Life with all the chairs used and groups of people stood around the bar and doors.

I led worship and preached on “Is life just a game of Manopoly?”

We had a group of teenagers in who’d been partying all night at the local fiestas. They were quite bubbly and joined in with the praise and worship, singing louder and more enthusiastically than some of the normal church folk!

Praise God for the portable PA I was plugged into!

Obviously, these encounters don’t necessarily count as numbers saved, but help totally unchurched people to move along the scale of understanding that Christians are ok,and God is too!

Please pray for further positive encounters.

Family time

We’ve been enjoying Rachel’s stay with us for the last 2 weeks and hope to have a little family get away, camping for a few days. Let’s hope the temperature isn’t too unbearable under canvas!

This weekend we have the Multi-media meeting, followed by Breakfast Church next week.

Please pray that those invited will attend and meet with God in a new meaningful way!

Please also pray for others to join the vision and come alongside us in the work. We are praying for another couple of mature believers to join, encourage and support us!

What we do.

As many of you know, we work on the basis that relational evangelism is proved to be the most effective method of winning and keeping people.

Therefore, we organise a range of activities that develop bridge building and relationship making such as BBQs, Bowling nights and Paella parties, for example.

We also organise specific events such as a multi media meeting at a local bar in the town once per month and the Breakfast Church event at which we prepare a fully cooked breakfast and then sit down to watch a broadcast from lifechurch.tv, with time for coffee and discussion afterwards. These events are designed for people whoa re new to church and are not used to attending any kind of religious meeting whatsoever.

Apart from these events we also spend time meeting and chatting with other expats in the area which as at times led to requests for prayer and counselling.

Sometimes the lack of immediate fruit can be frustrating, but we are about introducing people to Jesus in a way that they can relate to, via people that they can relate to. Who knows, one day some of these people could come through to a life changing relationship with Christ.
